Congratulations to our client, Northland Enterprises LLC, on the ground breaking of its renovation of the upper floors of its property at 443 Congress Street in Portland into 28 residential apartments. This renovation will include units that meet the city’s affordable housing requirements. This building will also undergo a National Park Service historic renovation with historic replica windows and remodeling of the upper four floors. Murray Plumb & Murray was pleased to assist Northland in obtaining financing, navigating the historic tax credit process, working with the City on the first project in Portland to implement the City’s affordable housing requirements, and generally providing the legal services needed to help make this project happen. We are very happy and proud to represent Northland Enterprises, LLC and its principals Rex Bell and Josh Benthien.
