Murray Plumb & Murray is pleased to welcome Katlyn Cook to the firm as a Summer Associate.
A rising third-year student at the University of Maine School of Law, Katlyn’s interests include environmental and land use law as well as employment law. She has gained hands-on experience in municipal law through her work with the Town of Gray, where she reviewed policies for legal compliance and assisted with drafting ordinances and policy amendments.
Katlyn serves as a Staff Member of the Maine Law Review and earned the CALI Award for Legal Research, Analysis, and Communications II. She graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Geography modified with German Studies, where she served as Associate Editor of the Dartmouth Law Journal.
Prior to law school, Katlyn worked in both legal and business support roles, drafting legal documents and research memos, writing grant applications, and assisting with permitting and regulatory matters.
“We are excited to welcome Katlyn to Murray Plumb & Murray this summer,” said Michael Traister, Managing Partner of Murray Plumb & Murray. “Her strong academic background, thoughtful approach to legal research and writing, and commitment to serving others make her a great addition to our team.”
We look forward to supporting Katlyn’s continued growth and introducing her to clients and colleagues throughout the summer.
