Ellen (she/her) joined MPM as an associate in 2022 and practices in the area of civil litigation with an emphasis on environmental and land use law. She enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and helping them navigate the legal system.

Ellen is a graduate of Bowdoin College where she majored in Government and Legal Studies. After college, Ellen worked in marketing at an international ecommerce company in Boston and attended Northeastern University School of Law. During law school, Ellen interned with Maine Equal Justice, the ACLU of Maine, the Androscoggin County District Attorney’s Office, and the Maine Attorney General’s Office. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Allison D. Burroughs of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and worked as a Student Attorney for NUSL’s Domestic Violence Clinic representing clients in protection from abuse matters.

Ellen is a member of the Governing Council for the Maine State Bar Association’s New Lawyers Section.

Outside of her professional work, Ellen enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, playing soccer, traveling, and learning to ski.
