Justin Clark practices with Murray Plumb & Murray’s employment law and litigation groups, with a focus on representing employees and small businesses. 

For over a decade, he has represented clients in complex cases involving employment discrimination, retaliation, unpaid wages, unpaid tips, unpaid commissions, breach of contract and severance agreements. Justin has been appointed as class counsel in numerous class actions and provides legal counsel to small businesses on employment law compliance and wage and hour issues. He guides clients through investigations, hearings, and litigation involving government agencies.

Justin has successfully negotiated countless settlements and severance agreements on behalf of clients. Justin has served as trial counsel in ten trials, achieving several significant jury verdicts, including awards of $900,000 and $1.295 million.

Before joining Murray Plumb & Murray in October 2024, Justin worked as an attorney for a boutique employment law litigation firm in the New York City metro area for twelve years. Justin was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in the New York City metro area from 2017 to 2024.  While in law school, Justin gained extensive experience through internships with the Attorney General’s Offices in Maine and New Hampshire.

Originally from Brunswick, Maine, Justin lives in Southern Maine with his wife and daughter.  During his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, spending time outdoors, and serving as a Board Member for Portland Ballet.
