Kristin is an associate attorney with a passion for helping clients navigate personal legal matters, particularly in family law, estate planning and administration. She understands the importance of addressing sensitive issues with care and dedication, guiding individuals and families through life’s transitions, whether it’s securing their future through a thoughtful estate plan or resolving family matters such as divorce, child custody, and child support issues.
Kristin also assists in a range of transactional work, as well as general civil litigation, offering comprehensive legal services to meet her clients’ diverse needs.
Kristin graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law, where she completed the Rural Law Fellowship at Camden Law, sparking her initial interest in estate planning and administration. She further honed her legal skills through her participation in the Prisoner Assistance Clinic, assisting incarcerated clients with family law matters.
Prior to law school, Kristin worked in philanthropy at Maine Initiatives, a community-based foundation focused on social, economic, and environmental justice in Maine. Outside of work, Kristin lives in Portland with her husband and their beloved orange cat. She enjoys exploring Maine’s endless number of trails and beaches, listening to her favorite podcasts, and crafting greeting cards.
