Bringing 25 years of experience in family law to Murray Plumb & Murray, Susan focuses her practice on divorce and parental rights cases, guiding clients through some of the most challenging times of their lives. Known for her dedication and compassionate advocacy, Susan builds strong relationships with her clients while providing honest, realistic assessments from the outset. She prioritizes resolving cases efficiently and amicably whenever possible but remains fully prepared to litigate if necessary.

Susan began her legal career practicing family law in New Hampshire before relocating to Maine in 2004. She is an active member of the Maine State Bar Association and a past Chair of its Family Law Section. Additionally, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Kids First Center, reflecting her commitment to supporting families and children.

Outside of her legal practice, Susan enjoys exploring Portland’s trails, cross-country skiing, reading, and spending time with her family.
