Stacey Neumann to speak on panel of Maine Lawyers responding to controversial ABA article

Stacey Neumann will serve on a panelist of Maine practitioners as they weigh in on thoughts and concerns surrounding implicit bias against working parents. Presented by the Maine State Bar Association’s Women’s Law Section, this CLE was prepared in response to the following article from a recent edition of ABA Journal: “Are women lawyers paying enough attention to upward mobility?

The panel will be presented via a Zoom webinar on September 28, 2021, from 4:00-5:30pm.

Stacey noted that she was looking forward to participating in this conversation: “I was disturbed when I read the ABA article but I think the concepts are among those that many still hold implicitly or explicitly against working parents, and working mothers in particular. I look forward to exploring these issues and how we can support all the members of our legal community, regardless of gender or parental status.”
