Murray Plumb & Murray is excited to welcome Desta Matsuda, who is joining the firm as our Summer Associate this year.

Desta recently finished her second year at The George Washington University Law School, where she was a Representative for the Environmental and Energy Law Association and worked on the Journal of Energy and Environmental Law.

Desta recently completed an externship with the Center for Water Security and Cooperation in Washington, DC, and worked as an Honors Law Clerk for the Environmental Protection Agency. Previously, Desta served as a Judicial Intern with the United States Court of Federal Claims for the Honorable Armando O. Bonilla.

“As an aspiring environmental lawyer, I am drawn to Murray Plumb & Murray’s diverse practice areas including land use and environmental law, public utilities, and real estate law,” said Desta. “Additionally, the firm’s commitment to community makes it one I’m excited to be a part of.”
